So I am into baking right now & I have done a lot of cakes for ppl recently, I wanted to be done with this blog as it was about my scrapbooking but I no longer scrapbook, so now its about baking, what ever next! lol take a look at my recent cake's.

I made these two cake's for resident's where I work, I am limited on ingreident's & time for creative-ness, so I can only do the best I can, I made the bow's out of regal icing.


I have also made this Mario cake for a member of staff, son.

nothing, fallen out of love & cakes

i have'nt had any umph, energy, will, life or kick in me recently to do anything i need or want to do or even things that "need" to be done that i still dont wanna do, but i have, i have climbed up that slippery wet mountain through gust's of wind's blowing down on me & when i reached the top, ive been blown back down again, but i have still struggled ahead, this is how i been feeling these last few month's, 2013 has not been kind to me/us at all, but i have had to carry on, i have people that need me& they have kept me going, my family & found my umph again, or i can at least saftly say it's on the verge off being back, i got groove back again.

I found another expensive but rewarding hobby, cake making, i foundi am good at it, people pay me compliment's & have asked me to make them cake's, this has boosted my confidence, i have found that i have fallen out of love with scrapbooking so much so that im still trying to get through my christmas album, have took no photo's of valentine's day or my birthday or "just because" photo's & thats ok, i even came to my desk to clear it all out, box up my scrapping stuff & sell the lot. BUT instead of cleaning & sorting i found myself scrapping & for once in my life i created a page that i did, from me, no sketch no looking up other people idea's, because sometimes i look else where for inspiration, the page just created itself, it was like the paper wasnt even chosen by me or the photo just went into that space etc, so fornow i have decided to keep myscrapbooking supplies.

it started off.....

with me working on crappy birthday cakes in work, i work in a care home kitchen & nobody else liked to make cakes & esp birthday cake's, the chef told me how they like themput together & so i got on with it, then i thought i'd "practice" my own birthday cake at home, i came up with this,


& this is the inside of the cake


so as i didnt have many material's, i used re regal icing to cut out the hearts & as valentines day was fast approching this cake became our early valentine's day cake.

So then came my first order which was a white & yellow cake that i didnt take a photo of, duh stupidhead!!! Other people started to enquire too & i thought about advertising myself, whaaaa no way i have only just started out, i will see how it goes??

I then made my actual birthday cake a 3 tier strawberry sponge & vanilla crean filling, it was divine!!


I was so proud of myself, i posted it on facebook & 2 more birthday orders rolled in & someone even asked for cupcakes, like my birthday cake, so i came up with these


& now i have mother's day order's comming in for mother's day cake's & cupcake's, so i think im just gonna go with this for a while as im in the kitchen anyway!!

fashionbly late ...thats DIFFERENT!

I have been nothing but very fashionbly late at everything i have tried to do so far this year! ...thats DIFFERENT.

Im going to do DIFFERENT thing's, im going to do thing's i dont normally do, buy more expensive thing's because im tired of being the cheaper kinda girl ...that's DIFFERENT for me. Im going to choose thing's i dont normally choose ...thats DIFFERENT. Im going to behave ...DIFFERENTLY.

I will own a DIFFERENT home
& go on a DIFFERENT hoiday this year.

Again im late at putting my "word" for this year out there ...DIFFERENT is the new me

birthday pages & a christmas page too

Well hello there people, no ive not disapeared that would be a hard thing to do, yes im stil here just not all the time like before!!

Well as soon as september ends, life button is on fast forward, celbration's memorial halloween birthday & christmas all comes at once for us, so time is short, very short!! whilst you lot are starting to think about valentine's day im still here on christmas & birthday page's, hehe ...note to self, "come on sarah!" lol

& so it begin's!

Hope you all had a great holiday/christmas with your family/loved ones!!

I will begin & end this christmas album, i have worked all through december upto christmas & back to work again tomorrow, so i have'nt had time this year to do a december daily, but i do intend on doing a christmas album with all my photo's that i have taken!!

Merry Crimbo EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

This is all of us on christmas day {yesturday} its been along time since we were all in a photo together!! but my friend took this photo & as i was trying to get everyone to pose for me on the sofa this was a good opertunity for us all too, nevermind the fact that i have no make up on & we spend the day in our pj's....we all did!!

I took way too many photo's to ever get around to scrapping them all! but hey ho here is a few of my favorite's....starting of with my 3 boys in my life, corey-max, gary & mikey

Gary bought me a external flash for my camera for christmas so i took alot of picture's experimenting with it, I SHOULD DO THIS MORE OFTEN!!! ilove to capture the REAL life photo's not always posed ones, kwim? & i love how i capured these two boys doing there thing with technoligy & also how i captured ernie in the middle of them, lol


& then today i took loads more photo's, im really pleased with how i have captured them in these photo's....her infront of the kinect & ernie with his toungue out haha




I also had a uv nail kit from gary & so today i practised using them for the first time...i need alot more practice!!!


To say my house is a mess is a bit of an understatement, we did a bit of a clean today but yeah waiting to do that "after christmas" clean out now!! ...but my kids are well happy & thats all that matter's right now, we are off to see family tomorrow so more photo opertunities!!
